Principal

Adept at crossing between complex typologies and scale, Alex Hall is an Architect currently practising in Urban Design, Architecture, and Interior Design projects. Alex has designed and led numerous projects both within Australia and Internationally, combining his commitment to creating designs that create thought leadership and deliver a people-focused outcome.

As a registered Architect in Australia, Alex’s work has ranged across residential, assisted living, health and wellness, education, hospitality, hotel, workplace, retail, large-scale urban projects and public architecture. This broad grounding across many typologies enables Alex to lead our innovative design culture with his particular focus on the Australian and New Zealand Regions.

Alex’s emphasis on thought leadership sees him often contribute and lead design discourse through written contributions to publications or through self-driven design explorations. Alex has recently written about the future of mixed-use development, designing for memory care and assisted living, and AD-APT an exploration of the new realities of home post covid -19.

Formally recognized with an emerging Architect prize by the Australian Institute of Architects for his advocacy for the Architecture profession combined with his award-winning completed projects, Alex fosters collaboration and design rigour within our projects. Alex’s notable recent projects with W-B include the Adelaide Market Square / Adelaide Central Market Arcade Redevelopment, 83 Pirie Street, 88 O’Connell Street, Penny Place, Australian Bragg’s Centre and U City by Uniting Communities.
