Senior / Associate Interior Designer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced senior leader to join our vibrant Perth studio, to work collaboratively within the studio design team, taking interior design projects from inception to completion, delivering high quality outcomes for our clients. As a highly motivated, creative, and resourceful team member the right person will have a positive and professional attitude towards clients and fellow co-workers.

About you

As the successful candidate you will have significant experience working with a collaborative, creative and resourceful team in the delivery of award-winning projects. You will have worked across various phases of projects and have an eagerness to learn and develop your skills further.

You will enjoy working in a dynamic studio of high-performers and contributing to a vibrant team culture.

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • 10+ years’ experience (or equivalent) working in the Interior Design field
  • Hold a Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • Intermediate Revit skills and capability of using independently is essential
  • Experienced InDesign user
  • Exceptional conceptual design skills
  • Lead a design team from briefing, space planning, concept, detail design, documentation, tendering, site and handover process
  • Advise and maintain project programs and deliverables
  • Lead brief development with the client at inception of key projects
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrate strong skills in overarching concept design
  • Technical knowledge and ability to developing design and take the design through to documentation
  • Understand procurement methodologies
  • Exceptional design talent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive and professional attitude and presentation
  • Ability to critique design and offer effective solutions
  • Ability to work and contribute to a collaborative, creative, design studio environment
