About the Role

Woods Bagot is looking to identify a strong candidate who possesses exceptional project management skills and proven leadership, gained by working on large-scale complex design projects.

You will need the ability to solve technical issues and work collaboratively with others through the conceptualisation of ideas in a highly connected environment.

The successful candidate will act as the day-to-day interface between the design team and the client and is responsible for ensuring the company performs to its contractual obligations by managing client expectations, scope of services, budget, and resource allocation to complete services within schedule, timely production of deliverables and quality control of services rendered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project scope and schedules to ensure execution and delivery based on executed proposal or contract; notify clients of add-services as appropriate.
  • Monitor project performance and take proactive action to ensure projects are meeting or exceeding financial performance objectives.
  • Work with resource planning and finance staff to ensure future project resources are maintained throughout the life of the project.
  • Provide contract administrative and negotiation support to the principals and senior staff.
  • Develop and manage project schedule and milestones to ensure project is on time.
  • Maintain client communications and contact, in particular for scope of work and obtain necessary client approvals.
  • Liaise with accounting for WIP monthly earning reports, contract billings and collections.
  • Conduct team meetings with staff and other key project team members to review financial, schedule and operational milestones.
  • Coordinate with other team members and Woods Bagot Studio Directors to ensure that office wide resources are organised and utilised.
  • Review and approve project expenses such as employee time, employee expenses, and project costs including sub-consultants.
  • Management of project risk within the parameters established by Woods Bagot.

You will be able to Demonstrate:

  • 5-8+ years of experience in project management or relevant fields.
  • Relevant degree in Project Management.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Familiar with zoning and codes in the local market.
