Regional Transport Leader – Australia
Neil is an award winning Architect with a diverse project portfolio developed in leading national and international practices in Australia, Singapore & London. He joined Woods Bagot Sydney studio as a Design Director and has transitioned into the role of Regional Transport Leader. Neil is a strategic, client focused design leader that has been instrumental in expanding the regional rail sector with the award of a range of significant city transformative transport and mixed use projects in Sydney and the region including Sydney’s Central Station, Crows Nest Station, Perth’s Morley to Ellenbrook rail extension and Western Sydney Airport shortlisted bid. Neil works closely with both government and private client groups in both advisory and design leadership capacities with large multi-disciplines teams. He was recently the Technical Advisor and Design Review Panelist for Brisbane’s Cross River Rail Development Authority and was previously the Design Lead for the NRT consortia’s successful bid for Sydney’s North West Metro. Neil is drawn to clients and complex projects that have the capacity to inspire people, transform places into sustainable urban environments and support social cohesion well into the future.
