Waterloo Integrated Station Development is a mixed use development for Mirvac and John Holland Group, designed during an RFT process for Sydney Metro.

The project reinvents an urban block in Waterloo located near the emerging ATP precinct and amongst the complex residential and social housing areas of Waterloo, Redfern and Green Square.

Project details

Taking  a reference scheme of predominantly residential housing, retail at ground and the new Waterloo Metro station and re-mixed this to reduce the residential component and introduce a commercial building. The result is a connection to the increasing commercial context creating jobs and diverse activation for the existing community.

Architecture responds to the fine grain and established character of Waterloo and the newly created public domain on which the masterplan is founded.
