Principal Christopher Lye has been invited to join the jury for June’s Frame Awards, contributing to an expanded international panel assembled in response to a particularly high volume of submissions this month.
As Hub Executive Chair leading Woods Bagot’s studios across Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Singapore, Christopher brings over two decades of experience across the United Kingdom and Greater China. His practice focuses on how spatial design can respond to shifting consumer behaviours and evolving commercial models, supporting brand ecosystems and long-term asset value in increasingly complex urban conditions.
Projects such as Suzhou Yanlord Cangjie, Shenzhen Yanlord Dream Center, Ningbo Unipark and Wuhan Liantou Huashanhe Urban Complex reflect this shift, exploring new relationships between retail, public realm and mixed-use programming.

“Across Asia, we’re seeing retail and mixed-use environments evolve from transaction-driven spaces into platforms for experience, community and long-term engagement. It’s encouraging to see how designers globally are responding to similar shifts—redefining what commercial space can be in a changing urban context.”
