Zhenmeihui Clinics achieves GOLD at 2022 WIN Awards

Zhenmeihui Clinic

Oubang Zhenmeihui Clinics designed by Woods Bagot have picked up the GOLD award in the Hospital and Clinics category at the 2022 World Interiors News Awards. The winners were announced  through an online ceremony on 15th November.

With a full-service offering of Visioning, Interior Design, Styling, Brand and Visual Identity consulting, the Woods Bagot team has curated an exceptional guest journey – a relaxed, private and specialised medical experience for the chain clinic based in three locations – two in Shanghai, one in Zhengzhou.

The new type of clinic saw a unity of Oubang Beauty’s three aspects of its business – Zhenmeihui (anti-aging service), Hair Bar (hair salon) and G&H (women’s health service).

Space planning is the key. Boundaries between the Front of House and Back of House are blurred. The use of neutrals, solids and transparency all became the strategy to create holistic physical and emotional experiences built on consistent respect for health, and a spatial narrative of “Timeless Change” celebrating the balance between preservation and evolution.

The jury stated, “The spatial experience was created to define classified zones where linger, respite and solitude were identified as key design opportunities.”

Supported by World Interiors News, the WIN Awards recognises the outstanding works of innovative, visionary and imaginative designers worldwide.

“Wellness-oriented spaces have become more than just places for healing during the global pandemic. We continue to strive for delivering high-quality wellness and healthcare spaces that raise a holistic healthy experience for all users.”

Michael Kang, Regional Health Design Leader, China
