World Class with Local Focus

The first stage of the development is the construction of a 5-Level building comprising of ground floor retail tenancies and multidecked car park, along with new site access and at grade car parking. The 505 bay multideck car park structure has future provision for an additional 94 spaces with an additional floor.

Stage 2 introduces a four‑level, environmentally sustainable medical building incorporating retail, consulting suites and allied health services, alongside a basement radiotherapy facility. The building accommodates a diverse mix of medical tenants, including radiology, oncology, dialysis and GP services.

A central feature stair enhances connectivity and spatial experience, while upper‑level terraces and function spaces support collaboration, meetings and events. 

The new centre is Australia’s first 6-Star Green Star medical facility, featuring an all-electric building powered by 100 percent green energy. The Playford Medical Centre features 40 percent lower embodied carbon than comparable buildings, and has been designed with high energy and water efficiency credentials.

The design draws on the site’s natural context, embedding biophilic principles to support health and wellbeing. Façade articulation and materiality reference the adjacent eucalypt grove, with textures and tones inspired by gumtree bark and the surrounding red earth.
