Convene takes home Innovation title at Regional BCO Awards

Convene at 22 Bishopsgate has been named a Regional Winner at this London BCO Awards, in the highly coveted ‘Innovation’ category.

The Innovation award aims to recognise significant innovation in one or more areas – such as design, technology, sustainability, materials and more. Winners are nominated and selected by the regional judges from any of the other categories. Convene was originally a finalist in the Fit Out of Workplace category and now, as this year’s regional innovation winner, Convene will go on to be a finalist at the BCO National Awards. These are due to be announced in October 2023.

Set within one of London’s most popular commercial addresses, Woods Bagot led the interior design on this project, working closely with Convene’s in-house design team. The interiors reflect Convene’s focus on amenity, hospitality, and experience, where it provides its users with an elevated offer, similar to that of a 5-star hotel. Taking into consideration the uniqueness of London, the design was influenced by the concept of the ‘Modern Livery’. Like the Livery companies of the City of London, Convene provides a platform for the creators and the innovators alike.

The British Council for Offices (BCO) is the UK’s leading forum for discussion, debate and research affecting the office sector. The London BCO Awards lunch took place at the 5-star Hilton on Park Lane, attended by industry leaders from across the UK’s workplace sector. Principal Peter O’Donnell joined the client to celebrate the occasion – made even more exciting by the award-win.
