U-Shaped Mixed-Use Site Links Major Pathways in Jakarta’s New Central Business District
Located in the heart of Jakarta’s new central business district Mega Kuningan, the mixed-use, curvilinear masterplan is a unique 120,00-square-meter project that is centralized by a public green space. Although the original call for entries requested two separate towers, the plan instead takes a uniform approach by conjoining the two components with a linking podium, supported by an arch-based structural concept.
Talk to Patrick Daly about Mixed Use
The 14-meter-tall (150 feet) portal created by the raised podium not only establishes an undeniable street presence, but also provides a visual connection to the green space and defines a series of public spaces above, below, and within the podium. Between the two towers, the project contains office space, a hotel, luxury residences, and is designed to achieve LEED Gold Certification.
