Art Office

An environment crafted to embody the culture of the organisation, and the innate duality of origin and context that exists for the Sydney office.

Alternative Asset Manager

Located on level 31 over looking the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, this full floor tenancy affords a controlled experience with impact and resonance, for employees, clients and professional partners. the company’s culture is to challenge and think differently – theirs is an environment of encouraging opinion and making decisions, and this is strongly rooted in the concept of having an experience.

An authentic environment displaying the company’s cultural values, and sitting comfortably in duality – both welcoming and challenging, assured and inspiring
– in respectful acknowledgement of foundations and legacy, but unashamedly future focused.

Project details

Like the company itself, the spaces are inextricably linked to culture – the old and the new are woven into the fabric of the space – using traditional materials and techniques in new or unexpected ways, pairing the unconventional or ‘cutting edge’ with crafted and time-honoured methods – to create spaces rich in narrative and experiences that are enhanced by the sharing of stories and the deepening of connections.

The cultural legacy of company’s founding workplace in Wellington New Zealand were intertwined with the new identity of their Sydney office. Methods of storytelling between both cultures weaved the narrative for the new workplace. Built relationships, shared beliefs and connection to place through experience were key drivers. Architectural vistas frame views of Sydney and create impact and drama through the space.
