James Khamsi

Associate Principal

James’s two decades practicing architecture and urban design has taken him from Toronto to New York and London and spans practice and academia. With a focus on sustainable urbanism and placemaking, James has global experience designing and delivering projects across residential, mixed use and cultural sectors. He studied at Harvard and Cornell and is a registered architect. He has been involved in transformational projects in the UK, such as the Masterplan for the 2012 Olympics, and in the Middle East. His work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and published in Azure, Domus, Detail and Volume. He is the author of numerous academic publications and has taught and lectured extensively.
