FRAME selects Yanlord Cangjie for urban regeneration showcase

The long-awaited return of Milan Design Week and the FuoriSalone 2022 has seen well-renowned interior design and architecture media giant FRAME China take a deep look at the topic of urban transformations – putting together a themed feature around shedding lights on how design can reinvigorate ancient cities such as Milan, Shanghai, Beijing and Suzhou.

Woods Bagot’s Yanlord Cangjie in Suzhou was included as an exemplar to showcase how architects, heritage experts and developers can collaborate closely to translate the essence of Suzhou into modern experience and define an innovative, forward-thinking destination that goes beyond the standard retail environment and captivates the young generation of affluent intellectuals and travelers.

The project has also been featured in Retail Research and Query Media.

The culture of Suzhou plays a key role in the design. Main historical features shape the volumes of the design with contemporary gardens enhancing the surrounding landscapes to create a design that is exclusive in Suzhou.

the latest animation just released and we look forward to seeing its completion soon this year
