Eight Woods Bagot projects have been recognised at the 12th CREDAWARD, receiving four Silver Awards and four Merit Awards across workplace, mixed-use, commercial, urban regeneration and interior design categories.
Held in Shanghai on 11 September, the awards recognise projects that demonstrate innovation, design excellence and contribution to the built environment across China and the Asia-Pacific region.
The recognised projects reflect Woods Bagot’s work across a range of scales and typologies, from future-focused workplace environments and mixed-use precincts to retail destinations and urban regeneration projects responding to the evolving needs of China’s cities.
Silver Award recipients
Comprehensive Commercial Project, Office/Building
IGG Fuzhou Tianmeng Tower
Inspired by Fuzhou’s iconic banyan tree, IGG Fuzhou Tianmeng Tower reinterprets the workplace as an extension of the city’s natural landscape. The 50,000-square-metre development combines architecture and interiors to create a workplace environment shaped by nature, culture and the creative energy of the gaming industry.
Comprehensive Commercial Project, Comprehensive Development
Sanya Joy City
Conceived as a “Tropical Stage”, Sanya Joy City responds to its coastal setting through climate-responsive design and a distinctive architectural identity. Since opening, the 93,600-square-metre development has welcomed more than 18 million visitors annually, generating sales in excess of RMB 1.6 billion
mixed Use Future (Concept) Project
Haikou Jiangdong Tiandi
Haikou Jiangdong Tiandi proposes a mixed-use coastal destination that brings together workplace, retail, culture and entertainment within a landscape-led environment. The project adopts an Ecology Transit-Oriented Development approach, integrating public space, mobility and ecological systems to support the long-term vision for the Hainan Free Trade Port
Future (Concept) Project
Shenzhen Meiyuan Cloud of Innovation Center
Developed through Woods Bagot’s Global Studio model, Shenzhen Meiyuan Cloud of Innovation Center brings together expertise from the Shanghai and Melbourne studios to envision a new mixed-use destination for Luohu District. The proposal combines workplace, retail, residential, education and community uses within a landmark precinct designed to support future growth in the Greater Bay Area

Four additional Woods Bagot projects were recognised with Merit Awards, reflecting the breadth of the studio’s work across workplace, retail, mixed-use and urban regeneration.
In Beijing, KR Center reinterprets the workplace as a civic and sustainable destination, drawing subtle inspiration from the city’s historic urban fabric. In Hangzhou, Hangzhou Mansion Retail Urban Upgrade revitalises a long-established retail landmark through a renewed relationship between the building, the public realm and the city.
Recognition was also awarded to Nanjing China Merchants Xuanwu Garden, a mixed-use development centred around a 700-metre urban green valley that brings together landscape, technology and public life, and Hangzhou T-ONE MO, a commercial interior project that draws on the cultural identity of Jiangnan and West Lake to create a contemporary community-focused retail experience.
Together, the recognised projects demonstrate Woods Bagot’s work across a diverse range of scales and typologies, exploring how architecture, interiors and urban design can create places that are connected to their context while supporting future growth and transformation.
