Arturo Revilla joins Woods Bagot to strengthen design collaboration between Europe and the Middle East

Woods Bagot has appointed Arturo Revilla as an Associate Principal based in its London studio. He will help strengthen the exchange of design knowledge, regional insights, and specialist expertise that connects the firm’s projects across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.

With over 25 years’ experience spanning the UK, China, and Mexico, Arturo brings a global perspective shaped by work across mixed-use developments and cultural, workplace, education, and retail schemes. His approach combines design rigour with a deep understanding of how architecture responds to the needs of people, communities, and places.

During his career, Arturo has held positions at Zaha Hadid Architects, UNStudio, Hassell, and Heatherwick Studio. Most recently, he served as London Studio and Design Director at Kettle Collective, where he led multidisciplinary teams and guided projects from concept through to delivery. Arturo’s knowledge covers design leadership, strategic direction and integrating diverse expertise to realise complex projects at multiple scales.

“Woods Bagot is one of the most established brands in the global architecture market,” says Arturo. “I was drawn to the practice’s long-term ambitions and commitment to placemaking, while its strong emphasis on global avant-garde design protocols creates an environment where ideas, skills, and perspectives are shared across borders, opening up new possibilities for design.”

“The relationship between Europe and the Middle East has long been shaped by the exchange of ideas, talent, and culture. Woods Bagot’s integrated approach across these regions creates a unique opportunity to combine global design thinking with deep local insight. At a time of significant growth and transformation across the Middle East, I am excited to contribute to projects that create lasting value for clients, communities, and cities.”

“Our Europe and Middle East studios operate as a connected design hub to bring clients valuable creative perspectives and regional insights,” adds James Taylor, Woods Bagot Principal and London Studio Chair. “With his skill in creating design impact for people and place, Arturo’s arrival will further strengthen this connection.”
