An office refurbishment that raises the profile of this City of London address with a greater presence on the street and an improved user experience.
Prominently situated in the heart of the City, 80 Cheapside sits within the historic financial centre of London with the Bank of England, the Royal Exchange and Mansion House nearby.
Talk to Peter O’Donnell about Workplace Interiors
As part of Phase I of a wider scheme, Woods Bagot was appointed to reposition the asset by enhancing the main entrance facade and concierge, improving the atrium and lift lobby cores and upgrading the base building amenities of this Grade A office building. The aspiration was to create a design that commands attention, creates a presence on the street and improves the user experience for existing and new tenants and visitors.
The realisation is a dramatic double-height glazed entrance with dark bronze framing and a front-of-house that is natural, organic and filled with light. The layout and continuity of materials creates a visual connection between Cheapside and St Pancras Church Garden – a bridge between the rush of the city and the tranquillity of the garden.
