Positioned on the riverbank opposite the city’s famous peninsula, this project provides the city with a premium-grade office space and community thoroughfare in the heart of the financial district. Comprising a dual tower form, the architecture embodies elegance and simplicity while maximizing views with a sky bridge. On the ground level, a terraced podium connecting the buildings encourage easy pedestrian access to both the central garden to the north and the riverfront park to the south.
Designed to achieve LEED Gold certification, the façade approach drove the sustainability strategy. Using a variety of materials, including contrasting stone and glass, both help to maximize daylight and sun exposure for tenants.
The connected lobby design intelligently uses the void that spans the third through seventh floors to accentuate a sense of spaciousness for the arrival experience. Composed of a series of spaces that are connected through a restrained palette of primarily natural materials, warm tones and softened geometry calm the active area. The unified approach makes the lobby spaces appear connected, integrating the building’s functionality.
