Project details

The project seeks to create a community within itself while also reconnecting with the surrounding neighborhood. At street level, a free flowing ground plane opens up the site, blurring the boundary between the neighboring hotel and enticing the community to enjoy new retail, restaurants and landscape areas.

Living opportunities are enhanced through highly adaptable units with flexible planning and living options made possible through extensive joinery and wintergardens. Stepping up to 28 storey’s, apartments are positioned to maximise the iconic Sydney Harbour views.

Echoing its water-side context, the building’s form is derived from the soft lines of plants and nature characterised by the surrounding deep tree-lined landscape and the curvilinear shoreline of Sydney. Curved and tapering, the buildings’ sculptural and striated form is reminiscent of foreshore sandstone and plays with light in response the to the ever changing nature of the harbour itself.
