Highlighting Climate Month at Woods Bagot

Earth Day is April 22, an annual event where millions of people on the planet come together to raise awareness of environmental issues that negatively impact our planet.

This Earth Day, Woods Bagot has been celebrating by hosting Climate Month within our global studio. This initiative, part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, is led by our Global Impact Group and Global Sustainability Leader, Russell Fortmeyer. Throughout the month, we’ve had the privilege of hosting speakers from around the world who have shared their insights on various sustainability topics.

This year’s theme, “Planet vs. Plastics,” emphasizes the urgent need to address plastic pollution and its impact on our planet. Throughout the month, we’ll be hosting thought-provoking discussions on sustainability in architecture and beyond.

From exploring whether seaweed is the new plastic with Uluu, to learning about our London studio’s efforts towards a new carbon economy focussed project, we’re proud to raise awareness and drive conversation in shaping a more sustainable future for generations to come.

Join us in celebrating Earth Day by reflecting on our impact and the steps we can take toward a more sustainable future.
