Woods Bagot Beijing Studio unveils its newly relocated office

It is a pleasure to share that Woods Bagot’s Beijing Studio has settled in its new office in Phoenix Place, Beijing.

After much anticipation, the team has finally moved from their home of ten years in Sanlitun Taikoo Li to a new one level space that creates seamless connection throughout the space. The planning of the new office balances functions and activities with engaging spaces to showcase the team’s creative process and collective intelligence. Connected workshop spaces form a functional and collaborative zone that also acts as a visitor’s show-window. The design celebrates Beijing’s context, promotes flexibility and – most importantly – aligns with Woods Bagot’s global visioning.

An adaptable reception and event space has been designed to cater for the gathering of various scales, and a DI Portal presentation island will act as a VR experience center supported by stools and modular sofas. Four movable workshop tables along the materials library provide opportunities for team collaboration, while smart lockers and 30 agile work points will support different choices of work and desk sharing.

The growth and development of the Beijing office will not happen without all our staff’s passion for innovation and hard work, and we are grateful for all the support and understanding from our valuable clients and partners. The fresh new space of our office will continuously accompany us to create more high-quality designs for the communities and the society.

Jean Weng, Woods Bagot Director, Executive Chair of Beijing Studio.

“When we design a workplace for ourselves, we hope the space is efficient, flexible, and highly adaptable. Whether it is for a collaborative workshop, individual work, or event activities, the space and furniture settings can be easily re-organized or assembled to meet different requirements of the activities – an exemplar agile workplace for post-epidemic.
