Interior Design 30/30 (Thirty Under Thirty) San Francisco, Interior Design–known for its global, industry-leading print and digital publications–invited Woods Bagot San Francisco Designer MJ Hirtz, to join their exclusive fellowship.
The program, which recognizes the top 30 designers under the age of 30 in major cities across the U.S., creates a forum for the selected designers to learn, discuss, and explore new skill sets. The overarching goal of 30/30 is to provide learning opportunities to help the next generation of designers advance their professional knowledge, while providing them with inspiration to continue to excel.
Being recognized as part of Interior Design magazine’s 30/30 San Francisco cohort is such an incredible honor. It’s inspiring to be among designers who are reimagining how we live, work, and connect through creativity and purpose. This recognition reminds me why I love what I do, using design to tell stories, build community, and bring beauty into everyday life.
The day included a welcome meet-and-greet, three interactive workshops, time with manufacturer reps to learn about new materials and products, a raffle and wrapping up with a happy hour providing the opportunity for conversation and connection.

MJ Hritz is an NCIDQ-certified interior designer with over seven years of experience at leading global design firms. She specializes in creating purposeful environments where functionality meets artistic expression, with a focus on sustainable design solutions. Since joining Woods Bagot in November 2024, MJ has been recognized for her creativity, technical precision, and collaborative approach to client partnerships. Originally from Siesta Key, Florida, she now calls California home, where she enjoys the coastal lifestyle and weekend adventures with her chocolate lab, Coast.
