Central Park North is an Editor’s Pick in the Unbuilt – Residential: Multi-Unit category and D.S. & Durga Abbot Kinney has been awarded an Editor’s Pick in the Interior – Retail Category for A’N’s Best of Design 2023.
Celebrating its 11th year, A’N Best of Design Awards is a unique project-based awards program which showcases great buildings both built and unbuilt, building elements, interiors, and installations across 39 categories. The 2023 program set a record for the highest level of submissions.
Central Park North is a 25-story mixed-income residential building which incorporates a diverse offering of residence sizes with rich amenities in addition to a 14,000sf ground floor community facility. Drawing inspiration from the cultural heritage and architectural context of its Harlem community, the program reflects a commitment to address the pressing need for affordable housing while incorporating sustainable living.
D.S. & Durga Abbot Kinney is the 3rd project for Woods Bagot with the fragrance retailer and the first store on the West Coast. The new store represents the ongoing design collaboration between Krista Ninivaggi, Principal and Interior Design Leader and Shanna Chan for Woods Bagot New York and Kavi Moltz, Co-founder of D.S. & Durga. Ralph Gentile Architects collaborated with Woods Bagot as local Architect of Record.
