Contemporary renovations add flair to a pre-war Manhattan apartment building.
Midtown East, these five pre-war residential towers have been been upgraded with new lobbies, storefronts, residents’ amenities, and a private courtyard.Two residential lobbies on each side of the building, elegantly reclad with new stone floors and walls, lead to an arcade and the courtyard. Inspired by the work of Anni Albers, the storefronts are composed of colored glass and louvers, woven together into a seamless, rhythmic pattern.
