The result of research on vernacular architecture, the retail complex captures the essence of Hong Kong in its space, volumes, and architecture translated into a vocabulary of materials, environments and scale that make the design of its place.

Each of the five levels has a distinct material palette, from custom terrazzo flooring, to marble flooring with solid brass inserts to fibre-reinforced concrete panels at columns.

The experience begins in a spacious, dramatic lobby. Two facing escalators in dazzling reds and oranges add movement and drama to the space. Hi-resolution screens throughout the store unify the space, and promote the brands on sale. State of the art sound-systems add to the theatrical experience. This use of technology blends with tradition writ large, like the oversized, brightly-colored floral motifs that wrap around walls, ceilings, and screens, immersing the visitor in giant petals. Pop-up stores add to the dynamism, creating a memorable destination.
