COVID-19: Woods Bagot Global Studio Connectivity

As always, the health and wellbeing of our people and our communities are at the centre of our response to the current pandemic. Like you, we’re taking precautions in each of our 16 studios to maintain health and hygiene, and in turn, continuing to provide quality professional services. We are monitoring the guidelines set by governments and health authorities and will update our clients and partners of developments as they arise.

Your local project team will be in touch with you in the coming days to discuss how we will continue to deliver the high level of service you expect from us. However, if you have any urgent questions, we encourage you to reach out to them.

Digitally Connected

We’re already experts at using technology to communicate. We work collaboratively, remotely, and virtually, all day every day, between our studios. Now, we’ll be doing more of it between our homes.

Working remotely is second nature to us thanks to our Design Intelligence (DI) Portal powered by a scalable and secure digital platform. This online gateway allows us to share ideas, achievements, and intelligence across our global studio.

The recent experience of lockdown measures affecting our China studios has allowed us to respond effectively to the extending global reach of COVID-19; taking on learnings from those studios we are confident of continued and quality service delivery across our global studio.

Remaining Healthy

Our highest priority is keeping people healthy and we are following the advice of various government and health authorities in the multiple regions in which we operate.

For anyone with possible symptoms or may have been exposed to the illness, we are following the relevant government guidelines for self-isolation and self-quarantine.

Our studios are abundantly stocked with cleaning and hygiene products, with additional measures and more frequent professional cleaning services.

Meetings and Travel

We’ll conduct as many meetings as we can via video conferencing (VC). We’ll miss seeing you face to face but will stay digitally connected and attend all key meetings as requested.

If you have a meeting scheduled in one of our studios, we’ll be in touch to offer our Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business software to conduct the meeting.

We don’t rely on travel to service our clients and will continue to service the global market due to our strong digital presence. Business travel is generally suspended firm-wide, with a strict approval procedure for essential requests.

Woods Bagot is also asking employees who return from international travel to distance themselves from their studio for 14 days and provide medical clearance prior to returning.

We thank you for your ongoing support in these challenging circumstances for us all.
