Senior Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Architect with transport sector knowledge and proven experience successfully managing the services coordination on large scale projects. Your bespoke technical knowledge and professional attitude, meticulous attention to detail and compatibility to our high performing, collaborative team culture will be key to securing this role.


This is a career defining project opportunity that will allow you to work alongside Project Leaders and Package Leaders, to deliver a large scale, complex and iconic project in the transport sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Project Leaders, Package Leaders and the wider team
  • Drive and proactively resolve coordination of the design with consultants and subcontractors
  • Assist with resolving design development issues
  • Oversee and assist when required with the production of the project in Revit, in accordance with WB standards.
  • Take direction from the Project Leader and collaborate with the wider team
  • Capable of taking initiative where possible

About you

As the successful candidate you will have an eye for design and an eagerness to learn. 

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • 10+ years experience (or equivalent) working in the Architecture field
  • Masters of Architecture
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong Revit competence essential
  • Advanced knowledge of the full architectural project process including fee and team management, schedules, and budgets
  • Advanced knowledge of building materials and construction methods inline with the Australian codes and standards
  • Advanced knowledge of structural, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical engineering as related to buildings
  • Ability to articulate design process and thinking
  • Advanced understanding of architectural documentation process and technical capabilities.
