About the Role

The Information Manager is a project-facing role embedded within a major project in Woods Bagot’s Perth studio. The position can be based in our Melbourne and Perth studio and we welcome applications from candidates in this location.

Working closely with project leadership, design teams and external stakeholders, the Information Manager ensures that project information is structured, governed and delivered in line with project requirements, client expectations and industry best practice.

The role spans both strategic definition and hands-on delivery, establishing robust frameworks while ensuring their consistent and effective adoption in day-to-day project workflows. It also provides an opportunity to contribute to the evolution of broader practice-level information management capability over time.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Define and maintain the project’s Information Management strategy and execution approach.
  • Manage and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP) aligned with project and client requirements.
  • Define and maintain information delivery milestones and exchange requirements.
  • Interpret and implement client information requirements (e.g. EIR, AIR) into project workflows.

Information Systems and Governance

  • Establish and manage Common Data Environment (CDE) structures, workflows and protocols.
  • Monitor information quality, structure and integrity across all design disciplines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for information management across the design team.
  • Coordination and Stakeholder Alignment
  • Facilitate coordination across internal teams and external consultants to ensure consistent and compliant information exchange.
  • Ensure alignment with project delivery obligations.
  • Support the team to embed practical and effective information management processes.

Delivery Assurance

  • Monitor compliance against project requirements, identify risks and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Capture lessons learned, and contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, processes and standards.

About You
