Information Technology Support Administrator

About the Role

Woods Bagot is seeking a proactive, tech-savvy IT Support Administrator to join our New York Studio, supporting the North American region, including studios in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. This part-time role is crucial to the seamless operation of our architecture projects, ensuring smooth IT support and an exceptional end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Provide first-level support for MAC/PC hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Maintain video conferencing systems, including proactive maintenance, user training, and troubleshooting.
  • Support studio IT needs, including project site setup and ongoing technical input.

IT Service Desk Management:

  • Manage support tickets, documenting resolutions and providing regular status updates to users.
  • Deploy and configure operating systems, PCs, and peripherals as directed by Group IT.
  • Maintain accurate hardware and software inventories.

Policy and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures in collaboration with Group IT.
  • Assist with technical documentation and user training.
  • Manage local IT vendor relationships and contribute to local IT budget planning.

About You

You’re a tech-savvy, service-oriented IT professional with experience supporting both Mac and PC environments. Confident troubleshooting hardware, software, and AV systems, you thrive in dynamic, creative settings and enjoy providing a seamless user experience.

Organized and proactive, you manage support tickets efficiently, communicate clearly, and are comfortable juggling priorities across multiple locations. You’re also familiar with IT policies, vendor coordination, and enjoy being a reliable, hands-on part of a collaborative team.

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • 3-5 years of desktop support experience.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Certifications like MCSE, MCITP, CCNA, or ITIL are highly preferred.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office, Office 365 administration, Windows Server (2012+), and SCCM.
  • Experience with JAMF, Windows file shares, Intune (MDM), and wide-format printer management.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software (Revit, Rhino, Enscape) is a plus.
