Flexible Environment Provides Next Generation Learning Environment

This student space at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is a next generation learning environment. Designed by Woods Bagot, the student areas in Blocks A and B at the Haymarket Campus provide a fluid and flexible social environment with informal learning spaces ideal for group collaboration.

To understand and ensure the space reflects exactly what the students wanted, in-depth interviews were undertaken with large numbers of undergraduates. A fluid, informal environment encourages workshopping, collaboration, conversation and self-directed study.
