Woods Bagot in conjunction with HDR Rice Daubney (HDR RD and WB Defence) is currently working on the MH-60R facility project to support the Royal Australian Navy (RAN)’s introduction of the new Seahawk Romeo helicopters capability
The new facilities will provide a safe, modern, efficient and ecologically sustainable work environment. They will also support related initiatives to improve operational efficiency in aircraft maintenance, operation and personnel training.
The project involves the delivery of operational and training facilities and infrastructure across a number of sites and the site planning requirements for facilities at HMAS Albatross, HMAS Stirling and Twofold Bay. Project scope includes the Helicopter Support Facility, Squadron HQ, hangars, associated workshops, Synthetic Training Facility and Explosive Ordnance storehouses.
