Following one of the largest leasing transactions in the Sydney CBD in 2013, Woods Bagot was commissioned by DLA Piper to create a modern and professional workplace that enabled the practice to connect authentically with its people, clients and community.
The client floor includes the latest in virtual meeting and other audio visual technologies and also incorporates a private courtyard which is utilized for meetings and functions.
The three work floors are connected with a central spiral stairwell, and include community and break out zones, quiet and meeting rooms, offices and workstation hubs. Openness and concentrated spaces are highlighted with texture, color, light and shade. The built form deliberately pushes the eye to light and external views while drawing light to the core.
