The Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) will hold their annual travelling international conference in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane from October 30 - November 3. 

As a part of the Melbourne leg of the conference Principal Kate Frear will speak on "Designing for Mixed-Use and Multiple Users" as part of a panel, the discussion will be chaired by fellow Principal Simon Dick.

Our industry’s response to workplace is often driven by factors not tied closely to human need. However, as workplace and wellness programs advance in the global corporate arena – with clear focus on effectiveness of employees – there is a growing need to link workplace design to the basic psychological profiles of occupants. 

Woods Bagot Principal, Steve Hargis, and Associate Principal Tara Roscoe, will participate in a panel discussion at the CoreNet North America Summit on 6 November to discuss how we can ensure that both introverts and extroverts are equally accommodated for in the workplace.

Director and SUPERSPACE leader Christian Derix will be speaking at the Urbanite event in Sydney as a part of a panel alongside Tim Horton, Registrar NSW Architects Registration Board and Jason Twill from Urban Apostles. The panel will discuss ‘Emerging Business Models in Property’ on 23 November.

Also on 23 November Regional Science and Health Lead - Hong Kong Andrew Humphreys will be speaking about Australian approach to the delivery of extended care in major hospital and senior care at the 3rd Annual Healthcare/Senior Care Innovative Development and Building Design Summit in Hainan, China.
