Woods Bagot announces newly appointed Principals

Following a rigorous annual nomination and presentation process, our Global Studio is proud to announce nine new Principals in Australia, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. These leaders are responsible for the firm’s development, anticipating future challenges as we continue to expand our business in an exciting era.

AUSTRALIA

 

Rhonda Mitchell, Melbourne

Rhonda’s skill in managing teams and facilitating stakeholder requirements allows for project team exploration and maximizing the design outcome. She is currently leading our Collins Arch project in collaboration with SHoP Architects.

Jason Fraser, Sydney

A diverse background in real estate, fine arts and architecture underpin Jason’s unique design approach. His substantial portfolio has garnered international awards and he is skilled with both the Design Excellence and State Significant Design processes in Australia.

Tracey Wiles, Sydney

As Regional Interior Design Leader for the firm’s Australian and New Zealand studios, Tracey creates elegant environments infused with an enduring sense of place. Currently, she is designing significant hotel projects such as the new boutique QT Hotel in Parramatta.

MIDDLE EAST

 

Paolo Testolini, Dubai

Paolo oversees the firm’s global masterplan and urban design work, delivering holistic and sustainable design solutions. His ethos is based upon a sensible business case for the proposed mix of uses and sustainable agenda. He is focused on large-scale projects in the Middle East, including the Dubai Land Retail District, the Palm Jumeirah Masterplan and the Expo 2020 Souks masterplan in Dubai.

Priya Mrinal, Dubai

Priya is a certified Project Manager with excellent communication and management skills. She has delivered some of the Dubai studio’s most significant projects in the region including the luxury resort hotel Jumeirah Al Naseem.

EUROPE

 

James Taylor, London

James leads the London Studio as both a Principal and London Studio Executive Chair, working with the Principals to grow the European architecture portfolio. He has worked on an array of projects which include large-scale commercial office towers in the City of London, education buildings across the UK, and RIBA Stirling Prize-winning residential developments.

Debby Ray, London

Debby’s core strength is building successful, collaborative teams. Her key projects in the UK include the Assembly Buildings, University of Glasgow School of Engineering, St. Mary’s Calne Library and STEM buildings, and a growing portfolio of higher education projects.

Simon Saint, London

Simon combines his passions for art, business and technology to create interdisciplinary design solutions for clients. He has focused, alongside Global Sector Leaders, on advancing the firm’s approach to residential design. These efforts have led to some of the studio’s most successful multi-unit developments, including Embassy Gardens at Nine Elms.
