Be a part of the Practice of the Future
This 10-week program is as an excellent opportunity for students to join a global architectural studio specializing in Architecture, Interiors and Master planning. At Woods Bagot, we believe in ‘People Architecture’ – the celebration of diversity across cultures, propelled by a shared sense of empathy where the values of end users and the values of design are one and the same. That’s why we look for innovative and creative interns who want to meaningfully contribute and actively engage in what has been described by our CEO as ‘a 150-year old start up business reliant on inclusivity, diverse perspectives and incredible thinkers’. The program, which will run from June 2021 to August 2021, offers positions in both Architecture and Interior Design disciplines in our New York and San Francisco studios.
Applications have closed.
During the first week of the program, the selected intern group – comprising of both architecture and interior design students – will participate in a design charrette that serves as both a collaboration opportunity and an introductory transition into each respective studio. The first week will conclude with a presentation of the charrette outcomes and design conclusions to the greater studio. The remaining nine weeks will focus on unique hands-on project experience working collectively with our design teams.
Interns will have the chance to fully immerse themselves into our rich studio culture and tackle architecture and interior design associated projects within our key global sectors. The Woods Bagot internship will allow you the opportunity to gain valuable experience, build long-lasting relationships and develop skills in a global design practice.
Woods Bagot is seeking dynamic and energetic designers who are excited to contribute to our next- generation global studio practice. You are an undergraduate or graduate student, returning to school in the fall. Interns must be proficient in current digital design tools (Rhino, Revit, Adobe Suite, etc.) since you will be working directly with project teams to create innovative design solutions in response to user, programmatic, environmental and cultural contexts as well as assisting the teams in preparing design presentations and executing project research.
