Your Team

You will be part of the global business development, marketing and communications (BDMC/ Global Client Stream) team. Based in the Sydney studio and reporting to the Global Client Stream Leader, you will be providing administrative and support services for the BDMC function. You will also be expected to work collaboratively with the BDMC team members, including the Global Business Development Leader, Client Stream Leader and Brand Leader, to implement globally significant business development initiatives.

Your Role

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative and support services to the W-B Business Development, Marketing and Communications (BDMC / Global Client Stream) global team. You will be involved in a range of tasks focused on improving the client experience, and in supporting the planning, management and delivery of marketing and business development campaigns.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Graphic design and layout support for marketing collateral utilising Adobe and Microsoft programs.
  • Diary management, including monitoring and maintaining calendars, arranging and minuting global meetings.
  • Preparing papers and presentations for executive meetings and workshops.
  • Collaborating with the Global BD Leader, Client Stream Leader and Brand Leader to implement globally significant business development initiatives.
  • Assisting with the Business Planning process each financial year.
  • Preparing monthly analytics reports for the Client Stream.
  • Additional responsibilities include:
  • Manage CRM data input including client details and information updates.
  • Coordination and logistics associated with production and distribution of marketing collateral .
  • Collaborating with all team members to deliver a great client experience.

Selection Criteria

The selection criteria include the qualifications, experience and capabilities required for the role. Your application will be reviewed based on ability to demonstrate, or potential to develop, the capabilities required. You must also have the legal right to work in Australia (an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident)

Qualifications and Experience

The key qualifications and experience required to succeed in this role include:

  • Associate or Bachelors’ degree in business administration, marketing, graphic design, or a related field
  • 5+ years of marketing or administrative experience in a professional services firm (or equivalent)
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Experience with Miro board is a bonus
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience (InDesign is required, Illustrator and Photoshop experience a plus)
  • An ability to work as part of a global team and independently
  • An ability to effectively communicate and influence internal stakeholders, seeking feedback from stakeholders on satisfaction and areas for potential improvement
  • Excellence in interpreting complex documents and be able to summarise clearly (e.g. PowerPoint presentation, Miro, InDesign etc)
  • An ability to maintain high accuracy and thoroughness
  • Time management and organisational skills, including the ability to balance competing priorities to deliver outcomes in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
  • Ability to coordinate multiple, sometimes concurrent, assignments and deadlines
  • Professional writing and verbal communication skills in addition to active listening skills. Writing and copy-editing skills include experience reviewing, organising, translating and editing written documents to improve clarity.
  • An ability to take initiative by anticipating tasks and look for ways to add value to the process/procedures of proposal and document creation
  • A genuine interest in the design and architecture industry
  • An approach to your work which is engaging, high-energy, collaborative, flexible, and shows a willingness to integrate and learn about W-B’s culture and business goals from the inside out
