About the role

As a Marketing and Submissions Specialist with a focus on aviation and rail, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, responsible for producing high-quality proposals and marketing collateral.

Your role will be multifaceted, requiring a keen eye for detail, strong project management skills, and a passion for coordinating proposal activities. You will play a pivotal role in our business development efforts, working closely with our architects, designers, and subject matter experts to create compelling submission documents, presentations, and marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Graphic design and layout of proposals utilizing Adobe InDesign.
  • Lead the management, coordination and production of bids, submissions, key presentations, and marketing materials for the Woods Bagot.
  • Strategic planning and research for pursuit responses.
  • Track and research project opportunities/conduct client research.
  • Conduct weekly media scanning, that is, review relevant local print media, government and industry publications and websites.
  • Assess locally relevant client intelligence alerts and elevate opportunities when required.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all materials including CVs and project sheets.
  • Assist with regional support when necessary.
  • Assist with the implementation of targeted client engagement initiatives to support sector and business plan targets.

 

About you

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong creative thinking to produce new ideas and concepts to convey the design story in client submissions and presentations.
  • Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Ability to ‘think outside the box’ for imaginative bid layouts and graphic concepts.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Understanding of architecture, interior design and design concepts is desirable.
  • Experience working within a professional services-related industry is preferable.
  • Experience with managing and working alongside complex internal teams including senior Principals and Directors internally.
  • Previous graphic design experience.
  • Previous experience in administrative work: maintaining collateral.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ work experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant degree in Marketing, Business, Graphic Design or Communications.
