About the role

The role of Senior Designer is to produce high quality project designs starting from initial concept generation through to Schematic & Detailed Design phases. Assisting the Project Leader and Principals in the production of a project and involved in the day-to-day execution of the project.

About you

You will have a minmum of 6 years post-graduate experience within an international architecture firm, and a proven track record of design abilities in multidisciplinary design studios. You will have a strong sensitivity to narrative, approach to design and execution of ideas and the ability to work across a range of project types, scale, and design languages.

Key responsibilites:

• Deliver contribution to projects efficiently and effectively
• Work with the Project Leader to maintain client relationships
• Solving complex problems in connection with the architectural design
• Assist in the development of local studio standards
• Drive the coordination of the project design, including all subconsultants
• Drive the project from concept to tender documentation

You will be proficient in the following systems:

• Rhino
• Revit (intermediate)
• Grasshopper
• Enscape
• Adobe Creative Suite

Experience and additional skills required for this role include:

• Experience in a similar role with multi-discipline coordination
• Experience mentoring junior team members
• Demonstrated experience with residential and mixed-use projects
• Experience working on projects in the Middle East
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
• High attention to detail
• Shows initiative and works independently
• Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment
• Solution focused with a collaborative approach to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
• Architectural registration or membership affiliate preferred
