Working closely with the Woods Bagot Regional Executive Team, ERA-Co Directors and our Global P&C team, you will be responsible for implementing people & culture initiatives and providing hands-on operational support, guidance and leadership to Woods Bagot’s North American Region (New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles) and our ERA-Co business (based in New York).
As a ‘trusted adviser’ to the business, this role is responsible for embedding global people and culture programs into our North American studios. Developing and implementing local initiatives that will align with the business plan objectives and employee relations and performance will also be part of the broad remit of this exciting and varied role. This stand-alone position requires someone who can provide HR guidance and leadership in addition to having the capability and drive to put in the effort to make the details happen. Degree-qualified in HR and/ or a business discipline, you are likely to have gained your experience in global professional services firms or partnerships, multi-nationals or in advertising / creative industries over a period of at least 10 years or equivalent.
Your experience is likely to have been gained from working in a range of diverse organizations of varying sizes, demographic profiles, organization structure and culture. Your experience will also have required you to work with all levels of employees across most aspects of HR management, operations and support.
Others you have worked with would describe you as being smart, resourceful, resilient and pragmatic in your approach to the HR profession and a self-starter who can be relied upon to personally deliver exceptional outcomes and innovative HR solutions.
You will be able to demonstrate:
We’ll expect you to take responsibility for all aspects of HR management, operations and support including recruitment, business planning, strategic hires, talent management, compensation and reward (including knowledge of Medical Insurance and 401K plans), workforce planning, employee relations (with particular reference to New York and Californian employment law), culture, HR systems and reporting and also project work. All aspects of the HR lifecycle are incorporated in this standalone position.
