Marketing & Submissions Specialist

Working across a variety of sectors and disciplines within our Perth studio, you will play a key role in producing high-quality proposals and marketing collateral. As a successful candidate, you have a true passion for coordinating proposal activities and working with text and graphics in a dynamic environment. You will be comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team designing and creating submission documents, presentations and marketing materials.

About the Role

This multi-faceted role requires the ability to initiate, organise and lead the development of effective marketing strategies including the creation of substantial, well-designed bid proposals, marketing collateral, and qualification packages. In this role, you will also collaborate with the Woods Bagot Regional Marketing team and contribute to firm-wide marketing and business development initiatives.

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • A proven record of submission/proposal coordination and text review
  • A proven record in large scale, multi-faceted bid management
  • A proven record of previous work in the graphic design field
  • Experience working within the professional services related industries is preferable
  • Strong computer skills, advanced knowledge in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Strong creative thinking to produce new ideas and concepts to convey the design story in client submissions and presentations
  • Ability to ‘think outside the box’ for imaginative bid layouts and graphic concepts.
  • Understanding of Architecture, Interior Design and design concepts is extremely desirable
  • Experience in dealing with multiple external consultants
  • Experience with managing and working alongside complex internal teams including Senior Principals and Directors internally.
  • 3-5 years’ work experience in a similar role
  • Relevant degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or Communications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Graphic design and layout of proposals utilising Adobe InDesign.
  • Lead the management, coordination and production of bids, submissions, key presentations and marketing materials for the Woods Bagot Perth studio
  • Assist with preparing materials and entries for awards
  • Strategic planning and research for bid responses
  • Track and research project opportunities/conduct client research
  • Conduct weekly media scanning, that is, review relevant local print media, government and industry publications and websites
  • Maintain brand consistency across all materials including CVs and project sheets.
  • Responsible for managing marketing system (CRM, image library, digital asset database)
  • Assist with Regional Support when necessary
  • Assist with the implementation of targeted client engagement initiatives to support Sector and business plan targets
  • Assess locally relevant client intelligence alerts and elevate opportunities when required.
  • Identify, coordinate and maintain local studio project detailed project information statements
