Our busy London studio is looking for Interior Designers to join our team of high performers to work on both UK and global projects.

About Us

Woods Bagot is a global People Architecture company. Its services are diverse and cover design, research, data analytics, and consulting. We are collaborative in our approach and as such you will be an asset to our regional team, assisting on global projects to produce creative and effective designs for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare concept designs with Senior Designers, to pitch for projects, competitions and potential clients
  • Prepare space planning, test fitting and schematic design schemes for projects
  • Prepare design development presentations and documentation
  • Furniture selection, prepare furniture RFPs, prepare final furniture specifications documents
  • Prepare finishes and materials boards for client presentations and prepare final finish specification documents and plans
  • Develop and detail design scheme with engineering services and specialist sub consultants
  • Prepare documentation packages including drawings, schedules and specifications
  • Coordinate and liaise amongst the design team

About You

As the successful candidate, you will have experience working with a collaborative, creative and resourceful team.

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • A strong eye for design
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A positive and professional attitude and presentation
  • Strong and varied Interiors sector experience
  • Ability and confidence in dealing with suppliers
  • Demonstrate sound skills in overarching concept design to design development
  • Excellent space planning skills
  • Technical knowledge and ability to developing fit out details and take the design through to documentation
  • UK standards and regulation knowledge essential

Qualifications and skills

In addition to holding a relevant Interior Design qualification, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Your experience in a similar role
  • Intermediate Revit skills and capability of using independently – essential
  • Civic, hospitality and/or lifestyle project experience – highly regarded
  • Solid knowledge of the full Adobe suite (InDesign & Photoshop essential)
