About the role

We have a unique opportunity for a driven and motivated individual, to work alongside our Global Design Director and CEO, to champion and instill the ethos and rigor of the global studio’s design culture throughout the global studio.

This newly created role comes with a high level of responsibility as the right hand to the Global Design Director. You will interface with regional design leaders to ensure best design opportunities are identified early and set on a path to design excellence through regular tracking, reviews and documenting feedback and actions for the Global Design Leader.

The role will bridge the gap between highly creative design thoughts and concepts and the regulatory review and reporting requirements of achieving optimal outcomes, so an appreciation of systems and process is essential.

You will be confident with InDesign and your graphic abilities, to produce reports and documents as required.

 

The successful candidate:

This role will suit a highly meticulous creative professional with an eye for design and detail, who can lead and motivate the global design team to work to best practice and elevate review culture. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage global design and delivery reviews schedules and coordination.
  • Aid the success of project designs through management of internal process including reviews.
  • Agree, communicate and manage improvements to current processes and new initiatives.
  • Manage various design and delivery meetings – scheduling, agenda, actions and follow ups.
  • Produce reports for various stakeholders of the business and report templates as necessary.
  • Connect regularly with regional design stream leaders to ensure compliance with design processes.
  • Compile a register of project process across the road map review stages.
  • Prepare monthly global studio executive reports.
  • Assist with the development of presentations and collateral.
  • Collaborate with digital teams to maintain intranet portals and project management tools.
  • Ensure global project sharing through various platforms.
  • Manage selection of projects for Awards globally and track deadlines.
  • Heavily interface with the image library and encourage wider use.
  • Work closely with Global Marketing, Communications and Digital teams to assist in providing current content for external PR purposes including publications and social channels.
  • Review final production materials to ensure that message quality, format and content meet design standards and are consistent with studio-wide guidelines.

 

About you

This diverse role will suit someone who can collaborate with our architectural design teams and business professionals alike, with a variety of deliverables and responsibilities, and drawing on your project and people management abilities.

 

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Degree in relevant field advantageous e.g. architecture, design, project management
  • The ability to use initiative, problem solve and to make appropriate recommendations.
  • Experience effectively and efficiently managing projects.
  • Ability to influence without authority to drive better outcomes.
  • Excellent administrative skills including the use of Microsoft office programs.
  • Experience using CMS and/or WordPress.
  • Adobe suite essential
  • Ability to work with discretion and tact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
