About the Role
Woods Bagot is seeking an experienced Defence Leader to drive and strengthen our national portfolio. This role can be based in any of our Australian Studios and will work closely with our existing leadership team to position Woods Bagot as a trusted, long-term partner within the Defence sector.
This is a senior leadership appointment requiring both strategic sector growth capability and a proven track record in leading major, complex Defence projects. You will be recognised within the industry as a credible and dependable leader capable of spearheading significant projects while also shaping the future direction of our Defence offering nationally.

About You
You bring a balanced skillset – combining strategic market insight and business development acumen with hands-on experience leading major Defence programs. You are commercially astute, confident operating within government procurement environments and adept at navigating the governance, risk and stakeholder complexity inherent in Defence work.
Collaborative and forward-thinking in your approach, you are motivated by the opportunity to shape and grow a national Defence offering within a global design practice, while continuing to provide leadership on projects of significance and impact.
