Assistant – Studio Support

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Studio Support Assistant to join our Melbourne studio on a full-time basis. This role is varied, rewarding and focused on quality customer service and administration support.

About the Role

This position requires a well-organised, friendly and professional individual with excellent communication skills. You will need to be able to prioritise tasks and manage your time effectively. You will have administration experience and understand the successful management of a busy studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming of visitors & clients, handling enquiries pleasantly and efficiently
• Maintaining meeting rooms, communal spaces, print room and kitchen – ensuring they are fully stocked and tidy at all times
• Supporting the Studio Operations Manager
• Coordinating the booking of meeting rooms, equipment and catering, and setting up any functions
• Provide administrative assistance, including typing, formatting documents
• Ordering all Studio supplies
• Mail collection and distribution
• Relieving the reception desk as required

About you

This positions requires a well-organised, friendly and professional individual with excellent communication skills. You will need to be able to prioritise tasks and manage your time effectively. You will have strong administration experience and understand the successful management of a busy Studio.

You will be able to demonstrate

• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form
• Strong administration skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
• A positive, can-do attitude and pro-active willingness to learn
• Strong computer skills – experience in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential
• InDesign experience highly regarded but not essential
• Previous experience working in an Architectural / Design environment is an advantage
