Our busy London studio is looking for a Project Architect to join our team of high performers. Your attitude, acumen and compatibility to team culture will be key. About Woods Bagot

Woods Bagot is a global People Architecture company. Its services are diverse and cover design, research, data analytics, and consulting. We are collaborative in our approach and as such you will be an asset to our regional team, assisting on global projects to produce creative and effective designs for our clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day co-ordination of projects
  • Co-ordinating and liaising with external consultants, including cross checking of drawings and Revit models
  • Assisting the Design Leader in the realisation of client briefs
  • Working closely with the design team in the review ideation and the evolution of our projects
  • Assisting in the resolution of complex design issues
  • You will also be required to communicate using sketches, 3D vignettes and technical drawings
  • Providing technical support to team members on drawings and documentation
  • Responding to project correspondence

 

About you

As the successful candidate, you will have specialised experience in the design and construction of architectural projects and have gained this experience working with a collaborative, creative and resourceful team.

You will be a technically minded individual who can competently translate design to deliver through all phases, including site delivery.

 

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • 6+ years’ experience (or equivalent) working in the architectural field
  • ARB registration is a plus but not essential
  • Varied experience across large and smaller scale projects 
  • Experience across Residential/Hospitality/Commercial projects is advantageous
  • An eye for design complemented with experience across all project phases
  • Intermediate Revit skills are essential (advanced level is advantageous)
  • Enscape visualization skills is advantageous (Vray and any additional rendering software program skills are NOT required)
  • Basic Rhino skills and an understanding of Rhino / Revit interoperability workflows is advantageous
  • Solid knowledge of the full Adobe suite (InDesign & Photoshop essential)
  • Sound skills in translating/converting a concept design through design development
  • Technical knowledge of project delivery requirements
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • UK building standards knowledge essential
  • An ability to mentor and guide less experienced team members
