Business Development Manager


Overview of Position: 
The majority role of the Business Development Manager is to follow up the new project opportunities while managing current client relationship, which is in accordance with Woods Bagot's plan objectives.  

Key Responsibilities: 
- Provide support in the management of Beijing Studio client relationships to ensure the smooth delivery and clear communications in the best interests of the project and client relationships 
- Provide ongoing follow up with clients post tender submission in order to expedite the commencement of the project 
- Support on the management of client relationships and the collections of payment in accordance with fee agreements and Woods Bagot’s standard terms and conditions 
- Provide clear written advice in relation to market issues, risks and opportunities on an ongoing basis to support the most productive use of marketing resources 
- Submit a monthly report on activities undertaken and potential leads (as agreed with Client Stream Leader) 
- Review marketing material and fee proposals prior to submission to clients and provide written comments to maximize their effectiveness 
- Liaise with the Management Stream Leader to discuss and agree all identified leads
- Work with the Management Stream Leader to develop agreed strategies 
- Facilitate initial client presentations using Woods Bagot marketing material 
- Issue marketing materials at the request of the Management Stream Leader

Key attributes required for this position: 
- Bachelor degree or above 
- As least 3 years working experiences in the similar field 
- Demonstrated experience in new business development initiatives and activities 
- Demonstrated experience in the construction/ architectural industry 
- Team work focused 
- Advanced verbal communication and liaison skills 
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively 
- Customer service orientation (both internal and external) 
- Proactive attitude, initiative 

Key skills required for this position: 
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, InDesign) 
- Advanced coordination and communication skills
