University of Western Australia's (UWA) new 10,000 m2 Business School will be a world class facility and will make a major contribution to the southern entrance of the UWA Campus and the overall architectural landscape of Western Australia’s oldest university.
The new facility will provide a single location for the various faculties currently housed in several buildings on and off the Crawley Campus and will include formal and informal IT enabled learning environments that support project based learning and encourage collaboration. The provision of a cafe, service centres, study carrels and syndicate rooms will enable seamless process to learning and extended hours of activity.
The Business School building also features a new academic workplace configuration designed to increase interaction between academics, their PhD students and support staff.
The Business School is currently under construction and is due for completion at the end of 2008.
