The ONE – locate in the HUB and prime location of Tsim Sha Tsui. Woods Bagot was commissioned to design a one of a kind boutique shopping mall in the city centre.

The design brief is a challenging one : to build up an ambience as stylish elegant from B1 - L4 to cater for more upscale target market and a trendy hip retail environment with cinema for the upper levels from L6 – L11. The remaining floors will be occupied by F&B, a harmonious backdrop will be developed to stage those outlets.

One big challenge for Woods Bagot is to develop an interesting retail layout in an elongated architecture. While the architecture itself is wrapped by exciting building façade. Inspired by its fragmented and facet design elements, Woods Bagot evolved a ‘diamond shape’ concept and truncated linear elements that runs through the whole mall. In terms of colour scheme, champaign gold and neutral colours contrast with sharper hues on upper levels. Furthermore, a see through atrium space is adjacent to Granville Road, the glass volume can be turned into an exciting event space. Pedestrian will be easily drawn to the dynamic experience of The ONE.
