Woods Bagot in conjunction with Urbis and EFA have been commissioned by the Queensland University of Technology to develop a Master Plan that will guide future planning to the year 2033. This project will result in a rethinking of the university’s long-term strategic vision and spatial framework, in order to deliver a university that is globally recognised and respected, provides ‘leading edge’ teaching and learning environments and fosters the pursuit of excellence.
The project will be conducted in two distinct phases: Phase 1 will develop the strategic vision and directions for the Master Plan (January – June 2008). Phase 2 will translate the vision into a 25 point spatial strategy and Master Plan framework to allow future university development to occur incrementally according to projected need over the next 25 years (July – September 2008).
