MATTHEW LYNCH
GLOBAL RESEARCH MANAGER
BArch (Hons I), BSc (Arch)

Matthew Lynch has a pretty cool dual-role at Woods Bagot.
Firstly, he leads Woods Bagot’s global research arm, Public, seeking to identify future market opportunities, spot emerging trends, maintain market relevance and develop client relationships.
And secondly, he is part of the global consulting discipline, where he develops and implements highly-successful performance-based strategies for clients that have become increasingly discerning and more averse to risk.
Matthew is best qualified to deliver client-centric strategies that are human-scaled and business-driven: a global research analysis of commercial tenants for a private equity firm; the repositioning of a cosmetics retailer in Bloomingdale’s; the consolidation of one of the world’s largest petrochemical corporations into a 250,000m² headquarters to strengthen corporate culture and catalyze its transformation into a knowledge-based business.
Matthew contributes to Architectural Record, Urban Land, AIArchitect, and Archinect and started teaching core curriculum at The University of Melbourne's MSD during 2012. He previously taught at Columbia University's GSAPP in New York.
