The mixed use complex includes a 5 star hotel, express hotel, offices, SOHO and retail, positioned as a modern lifestyle centre: a destination for high-end shopping, entertainment, workspace, business dealing and government receptions.

Woods Bagot prepared two options for the client that follows a rather formal design language as requested by the client and local authorities, but with a contemporary interpretation. The use of simple forms and efficient geometry integrates the project into the urban fabric of the district and wider Lanzhou. The design respects the northern China climate and reflects the CBD building language of which local stakeholders are proud.
